The Mid-Autumn Festival , also popular as Moon Cake Festival is just around the corner! It’s on 1-October, this time, in 2020. There’ll be beautiful lanterns across the town and yummy mooncakes to get your hands on. This famous festival is traditionally a thanksgiving celebration, with families gathering to eat mooncakes and admire the full moon. But hey, do not forget that we are going through this unfortunate phrase of COVID-19 and we shall comply with government regulations of social distancing, safety etc., in the interest of society at large and to fight this virus.

Unlike traditional way of offering food to the moon, and lanterns being carried for a symbolic representation, some of these traditions have become less common in the modern times.
